T-20 ATOP MOUNT EVEREST
Author: adminThe world’s highest ever cricket game is to be played on Mount Everest, by two British teams named after Tenzing and Hillary. This is a T-20 match to be played on April 21st. on a frozen lake near the Khumbu glacier, which is going to be televised. This match is for charity to rise funds for The Himalayan Trust, UK, set up by Hillary in aid of the Sherpa community. There are criticisms from certain quarters voicing concern that already the mountain climbers are polluting the Himalayas and the Everest has earned the nickname of being the world’s highest dumping yard. It is felt that this is an entirely silly and avoidable adventure.
