RAP MUSIC
Author: adminRap is a very popular kind of music in the west. Its origins are from the blacks and the Hispanics of New York. Rap is also an extension of Hip-Hop with its predecessor being break-dancing. Rap is away of expressing society’s concerns, issues, and in general to raise awareness through rhythm and poetry.
The origin of the Rap goes back in times when slaves were shipped from the Africa to South America, and they rhymed in codes and syllables and with the use of the snap of their fingers and the clap of their hands, so that their masters would not understand their communication. That’s how the rhythm was formed and in combination with the beat and rhymes, this evolved into the rap music.
