Spinning a yarn

The spinning machinery is turned to completely state – of – the – art machinery less manpower requirements. Both the natural fibers and the man – made fibers are being manufactured all over the world through 100% cotton spinning is more predominant in the south east Asian countries and in Africa. The process of spinning a yarn out of cotton fibers has come a long way from the time Mahatma Gandhi spun his yarn for his clothes in the wheel called the ‘charkha’. Today spinning a yarn is a mighty industry and that is not simply put, “spinning a yarn”. Highly elaborate processes and procedures are involved before the fiber is spun into a yarn.
